About the event

Title

How to Challenge Imposter Syndrome and Thrive

Description

In order to think, be and perform at your best it’s important to acknowledge any challenges or obstacles that stand in your way to be able to move beyond them.

‘Imposter Syndrome’ can be one such obstacle. It’s described as an internalised fear of inadequacy, feeling like a fake or of being found out you don’t know enough and don't deserve to be where you are.

Women of colour from ethnic minority backgrounds are more likely to experience feelings of Imposter Syndrome. We see fewer examples of people who look like us in our professional spaces and we’re more likely to be made to feel as though we don’t belong, even when we’ve done the work to get to where we are and deserve to be there, this can amplify feelings of not being good enough.

Please join us on Thursday 20th July at 6.00pm (BST)
